The Center for Medical Genetics’ prenatal genetic services are designed to complement routine obstetric care, including the coordination of routine pregnancy screening tests, as well as genetic counseling for indications such as advanced maternal age, abnormal prenatal screening tests or positive family histories. These genetic services may also be coordinated with prenatal diagnostic procedures such as amniocentesis and high level ultrasound.
